Steel sector praises new tariff measures, but says more needs to be done

Industry Disappointment: The steel industry was particularly unhappy with Ottawa’s second extension to Canada’s remission program for steel importers in critical sectors.

Government Accountability: Cobden has resolved to hold the government accountable for Carney’s pledge to conclude the remission program by the end of January.
